LUMS

LUMS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EnablifyAI, an AI enablement firm that helps organizations build institutional AI capability through workforce upskilling, AI advisory services, adoption roadmaps, and bespoke AI solutions, to strengthen industry-academia collaboration in Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The MoU was signed on June 5, 2026, at LUMS by Dr. Tariq Jadoon, Provost, and Muhammad Shahzar Ilahi, CEO, EnablifyAI. Also present at the ceremony were Dr. Walther Schwarzacher, Dean SBASSE, and Dr. Muhammad Tahir, Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering.

The partnership aims to support applied research, advisory engagements, and industry-linked learning opportunities. Through this collaboration, LUMS faculty and researchers will work alongside industry partners on AI advisory projects, while graduates of the MS Artificial Intelligence programme will have opportunities to contribute to AI-driven solutions across diverse sectors.

The partnership will also support industry-embedded projects and future programme development, enabling joint initiatives that respond to emerging needs in the rapidly evolving AI landscape.

By bringing together academic expertise and industry insight, the initiative reinforces LUMS’ role in advancing AI education and research while contributing to Pakistan's growing technology ecosystem.
